Peaky Blinders came to a dramatic end on BBC and Netflix last year as everyone’s favourite gangster Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) held a gun up to his head while screaming, looking as if he was ready to pull the trigger. Fans will have to wait until the next season to find out if he actually did try to end his life but the series is unlikely to be back in 2020. However, there could be plenty to look forward to with the introduction of a familiar face to the show’s cast.

At the end of season five, Tommy discovered there was more than one traitor in the gang.
Michael Gray (Finn Cole) made a speech at the Garrison pub announcing that he wanted to restructure the Peaky Blinders with him on top as the leader.
Thankfully, everyone rejected the idea and Michael took a step back from the gang.
But what was even more of a surprise to Tommy was barman Micky Gibbs (Peter Campion) who was outed as a traitor, leaking information to the Titanic gang in London.
As punishment, Tommy shot Micky in the head and then burnt his body.

He firmly added: “Not Al Capone – I didn’t want to go west. Because it’s a minefield once you go into Chicago gangsters.
“I refer to him last series, but I didn’t want to go into that.”
Graham is not the only famous face to be linked with Peaky Blinders as Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts have all been connected to show after expressing their love for the series.
Rapper Snoop Dogg also admitted he was a fan of the show and his agent even contacted Steven about a potential appearance in the series.
But the Peaky Blinders is determined not to give everyone who is a fan of the show an acting part.
Knight said: “The amount of people who have come to us wanting to be in it is quite astonishing, and really good people.
“So, what I’ve tried to avoid before is turning it into a spot the celebrity – you know, because I think it’s quite distracting sometimes.”
An official release date has not yet been announced for season six but is expected to be released sometime in 2021.
