Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could be forced to pull out of France’s squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Albania and Andorra after sustaining an ankle injury against Southampton today.

The Frenchman was well below par as United left the south coast with a share of the spoils following a mixed performance against the Saints.

Daniel James gave the Red Devils the lead in the first half with a sensational strike but Jannik Vestergaard’s towering header gave the Saints a precious point.

Pogba showed no sign of an injury during the game but he was seen heavily limping afterwards.

United’s draw means it’s their worst start in the Premier League since the 1992/93 season.

The Red Devils battered Chelsea 4-0 on the opening day of the season but they’ve drawn twice and lost one since.

They face Leicester City at Old Trafford after the international break before travelling to West Ham the following week.?
