Paul Pogba provided a positive update on his injury as he declared he hopes to be back “soon” as he was spotted walking his dog on Monday afternoon.
Pogba last played at the end of September, aggravating an ankle injury he picked up against Southampton on August 31.
The France international has played just six times this season but posted regular updates on his social media channels.
He had a cast removed last month and is hopeful of returning to action before the end of 2019.
Pogba celebrated the wedding of brother Florentin over the weekend and was spotted in his club tracksuit walking his dog in Cheshire on Monday after his return.

Asked by a photographer when he will be back playing, he simply replied: “soon” as the Red Devils hope to have their star man back in action.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provided an update on Pogba ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham last week.
Whilst he remained tight-lipped on the midfielder and refused to put a date on his return, he declared they hope he will be back before the New Year.
“No, it’s too early yet,” Solskjaer said. “We hope [he will be back before the end of the year], he’s working hard to get fit so hopefully we can get him back on the pitch.”

Pogba has told the young players to make the most of their first-team opportunity – and told them he will help them in any way he can.
“I’ve said to a lot of the young players who have been with the first team: ‘Guys, you don’t know how lucky you are,’” says Pogba, speaking to United’s official website.
“Unfortunately for us, we’ve had a lot of injured players and it’s therefore a big chance for the young players to be involved with the first team.
“They have the chance to do well and stay there. So, I said to them: ‘Take this luck and take this opportunity because it’s important until the other players come back fit.’
“You never know, there could be an injured player and a young player comes in and plays a great game and they stay with the first team until the end of their career.
“I think and I hope I can help them. This is one of the biggest clubs in the world and maybe the biggest club in history and they have the chance to be in this club.”
