BTS have an army of celebrity fans, from John Cena and Shawn Mendes to Halsey and Ansel Elgort.
But they may have just bagged their most famous fan yet.
Paul McCartney has applauded the K-pop superstars after seeing them perform The Beatles’ classic Hey Jude.
The legendary Beatle appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and the host just had to show the 77-year-old the band’s ode to Hey Jude.
Stephen was curious about how Paul felt about the reach of The Beatles’ music to different cultures, so showed him BTS’s visit to his show back in May.
He said: ‘Do you know the Korean pop band BTS? They’re the biggest thing on the planet right now’, with McCartney replying: ‘Yeah, so I’ve heard.’
A clip played of RM, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jin and Jungkook being asked what their favourite Beatles song was, and J-Hope happily oblliged by stamping on the floor, jumping to his feet and singing the ‘na na na na’ refrain to Hey Jude.
All the biys joined in and it was like the best karaoke sesh we’ve ever missed out on.
And Macca was impressed, applauding the clip as it ended.

Colbert asked: ‘What do you think it is about your music that transcends georgraphic and language barriers, so that those seven guys would just jump up and start the na na nas?’ – and McCartney replied: ‘Easy lyrics?’
He has a point.
Back in April, BTS became the first band since The Beatles to get a third number one album on the Billboard 200 chart in 12 months, after Map Of The Soul: Persona hit the top spot.
That put them on par with Paul. John, George and Ringo, whose archival releases Anthology 1, Anthology 2 and Anthology 3 were all at No1 in the year between November 1995 and October 1996.
So it made sense when visiting The Late Show that they pay tribute to The Beatles by performing Boy With Luv in black and white.
In an ode to The Beatles’ iconic performance at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, where The Late Show is filmed, the lads all wore black suits and ties while girls dressed in 60s attire screamed for them.
