Summer Monteys-Fullam has claimed that she never ‘asked’ for a life of fame but she won’t close doors that are opening.

The ex-girlfriend of Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood has been accused by Paul of refusing to sign an NDA over their relationship leading to their split but has now said that she is open to seeing what her options are as they arrive.

Speaking of being thrust into the spotlight, she said: ‘It’s been an adventure, and I’ve taken it in my stride, I will continue to be true to myself and not get lost.’

But she added: ‘I didn’t ask for this.

‘I didn’t ask for these doors to be opened, the world sucked me into it – in a good way, a really good way – and now I want to see what my options are.’

When quizzed about those options during her first interview on Fubar Radio podcast Access All Areas, she continued: ‘I have a few things, I can’t talk about anything in detail but I have some amazing TV presenting coming up, I am reading a few scripts, which you may have seen when I was on holiday.’

Summer has never attended acting school, and admitted that the only experience she has is ‘in front of the mirror’.

As for the rumours that she may pop up on reality TV such as I’m A Celebrity or Love Island, she hesitated before admitting she was unsure and said: ‘I would focus on the options that I have in front of me now rather than actual reality if that makes sense.’

Summer found fame in 2017 when it was revealed she was dating host Paul Hollywood; they met when Paul planned a birthday party for his now ex-wife, Alex, at the pub Summer worked in.

However, they split in early August after it was revealed she refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement which would have prevented her from discussing their relationship with her friends, family and the public.

The split later turned bitter when Paul addressed the speculation surrounding their relationship, accusing his ex of ‘playing games’.

Paul’s solicitor Tom Amlot released a statement confirming the split, saying: ‘I asked Summer to sign an NDA as is standard practise in order to protect Paul’s family and their private lives.’

However, the barmaid denied his accusations, claiming the Great British Bake Off star tried to pressure her into signing a gagging agreement.

She later took to Instagram to confirm she has ‘had no alternative but to instruct my solicitors Brett Wilson LLP to pursue legal proceedings against Paul’ and that she has been left ‘deeply disappointed that the relationship has ended in this way’.

She later dropped the proceedings.
