PAUL Hollywood has been reunited with his rottweiler Bear after ex-lover Summer Monteys-Fullam felt “sorry for him”.
But there is no chance of a reconciliation because she “never wants to see him again”.
The bitter ex-couple had been at war over their pets and rowed over custody.
And the thrilled 53-year-old proudly showed off a photo of Bear on Instagram after his safe return with the words: “Morning, a fine looking pooch x”.
It came as the TV star helped dismantle a paddock he had built in the lavish home he shared with Summer.
With her gone for good, Paul told pals he wanted all traces of the horses exercise yard gone.
A pal told what prompted Summer to end a legal row and hand back the Bake Off star’s beloved dog: “She’s come to her senses.
“She feels stupid for falling for the old goat and wishes they’d never met. But handing back Bear is a way of never having to meet up with him again.
“She’s a decent person and knew how much he adored Bear. Despite her own emotional attachment to the rottweiler, she knows she’s done the right thing.
“There were no lawyers involved in getting Paul his dog back.”
Earlier this month former barmaid Summer, 24, was spotted walking the former duo’s Chihuahua Cookie and big beast Bear.
Summer, who has eight horses, has moved back to live with her mum.
Paul, 53, has kept a £35 pink-beaked Plymouth Rock chicken called Karen and several other unnamed hens.
