All 90s kids rejoice, because Pat Sharp has revealed an adult version of Fun House could be on its way – and if you’re not singing the theme tune by now, why not?

The 58-year-old was famous back in the day for the children’s TV classic which aired on ITV from 1989 to 1999 – and with many of its young fans now grown up themselves, there are plans in place for an interactive live experience which would travel up and down the UK.

‘We’re still looking at trying to do a live, interactive, immersive attraction. So we’ll hopefully get the rights and get it out there,’ the host began.

‘We’ve got a company that’s ready to go. What we’re trying to get is the rights to enable us to do it and get it out there for adults to play in the Fun House – exactly as it was, with go-karts.

‘At the end of the Fun Run or whatever we do, you’ll be able to have a drink and a dance. It could be good for stags and hens, stuff like that,’ he told BANG Showbiz.

He continued: ‘I get a lot of people who message me with a picture of their kids watching it, episodes from like 1989.

‘They watch it over and over again, and they love it. It probably could work again in a format of some kind, absolutely.’

Pat brought back the original Fun House in 2015 as a one-off special – and it makes us question, why doesn’t he make more?

Soft play experts Wacky Warehouse reconstructed the most amazing Fun House experience and some lucky contestants were able to take part in all of the outrageous fun.

Complete with gunge, silliness, prizes, games and of course Pat and the twins Melanie and Martina, the revival saw four parents relive their childhood dreams with their own offspring by taking part in the contest (not jealous one bit).

Either way, we need this back in our lives.
