The Malta-licensed bookmaker will leverage its newest ambassador to “strengthen brand recognition” among the Polish market and bettors interested in esports. As a professional player, Pashabiceps has become a well-known name among the competitive Counter-Strike vista – the Polish player’s accolades include 43 tournament wins and a number of nominations as one of the top CS:GO players in the world.

Łukasz Kieza, Head of Marketing at LV BET commented on the development in a release: “We are pleased to take this exciting next step into the world of esports so quickly. We have one of the most popular esports players in the world playing in our team. Our players are becoming more and more active in the field of esports every month. Thanks to this, we at LV BET, are able not only to develop our product but also expand our activities in new markets, which can undoubtedly include esports.”

The brand ambassadorship will see pashaBiceps collaborate with LV BET on marketing initiatives such as social media campaigns, custom activations, and dedicated promotion – both online and offline.

While LV BET may have just found itself launching a dedicated esports section as recently as September, the company has a bounty of sponsorship activity in traditional sports. The company expanded its footprint earlier this year by becoming the official betting partner of the Vanarama National League, the fifth-highest division of the English football league system.

Esports Insider says: Outside of sponsorships, you don’t see too many brand ambassadors for bookmakers looking to expand in esports – and this arrangement makes us wonder, why not? pashaBiceps is bonafide name in Counter-Strike with the personality to match; all things considered, the game plan to leverage the player in exchange for a slice of the Polish market and esports punters seems like a good strategy if executed right.
