Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar will get his wish of returning to Barcelona this summer – if the club pay his £136m asking price.

The Brazilian made a controversial £199m move to Paris in 2017 after the Ligue 1 giants triggered a release clause in his contract.

However, Neymar made clear last summer that he wanted to return to the Camp Nou but the two clubs could not reach a settlement over a fee.

Neymar has endured another injury-hit campaign in France and the club are no longer desperate to keep him, especially given his astronomical wages.

According to the Mirror, PSG are now willing to accept a fraction of the price that they paid for Neymar and will accept bids of around £136m.

Though Real Madrid are likely to be interested, Barcelona is thought to be Neymar’s first choice.

However, the club would have to sell the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti to raise funds and even then the figures look steep.
