Paris Jackson has been cast as Jesus Christ in an upcoming indie film called Habit.

The 22-year-old will star alongside former Disney star Bella Thorne, who plays a street-smart girl with a Jesus fetish who pretends to be a nun on the run.

Yeah, you heard that right.

Bella’s character is also trying to escape the results of a drug deal gone wrong.

Bush singer Gavin Rossdale, Josie Ho, Jamie Hince, Alison Mosshart, model Andreja Pejic and Libby Mintz have also been confirmed cast members for the film.

If you haven’t noticed, the cast members are on the alternative side and it’s intentional.

‘Yes, we intentionally stacked the film with rock stars and will have a very rocking soundtrack,’ producer Donovan Leitch told EW.

The news of the film comes right at the end of Holy Week.

Habit has already wrapped up filming right as productions were stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s already in post-production and we’re intrigued to see how this goes.

After movies and shows halted production due to the spread of Covid-19, Paris has been focusing on finding activities to keep positive during these stressful times.

While being mostly self-isolated, Paris reveals that she’s found painting to be an ‘amazing’ source of expression.

The Scream actress then encouraged others to keep in touched with loved ones in these uncertain times.

‘I think it helps that we live in a day and age when education is so easy so you can talk to talk to someone on the other side of the globe – that definitely helps to stay connected with other people,’ Paris told TMZ.

Paris added: ‘Don’t emotionally isolate. There are a million different ways to handle anxiety and everyone’s coping skills are different but I encourage everyone to try.’
