Paris Hilton is expanding her business empire by backing an app that allows users to book their grooming appointments through their phones and ‘deliver’ a therapist straight to their door. And she’s so confident it will be a hit that she’s dubbing the start-up the ‘Uber for beauty’.

Socialite and DJ Paris says she’s been using Glam App for four years. She told Forbes she became hooked because it makes booking her beauty treatments so ‘convenient’.

Paris said: ‘I think it’s the future of beauty services because just at the touch of a button, you can have an incredible hair, makeup, or nail stylist come to your front door and get you ready.

It makes things so convenient and it’s literally like the Uber for beauty and right now, I’m obviously running a huge business, but a big priority of mine for the past year has been investing in companies that I believe in.’

Glam App is definitely one of those companies, and it’s growing fast because you can now book a therapist in 23 countries around the world.

Paris has jumped on board at what seems to be the right time, too. A-list make-up guru and hair stylist Joey Maalouf owns Glam App. He’s about to introduce appointments with celebrity therapists to their roster of services so users can get the VIP treatment like Paris.

With an ever expanding portfolio of make-up, perfume and skincare businesses, she’s certainly come a long way since hanging out with Nicole Richie in The Simple Life.

Aside from her beauty empire, Paris has been busy with her return to music.

The sometimes-popstar has released the music video for her new single, Best Friend’s A*s, starring none other than her longtime BFF Kim Kardashian.

And the nostalgia is real, throwing us all the way back to Stars Are Blind days.
