Paris Fury has spoken about the heartbreaking decision she made when deciding to delay telling husband Tyson Fury about their stillborn son.

The childhood sweethearts were married in 2008 and share seven children together – daughters  Venezuela, Valencia, and Athena, and sons, Prince John James, Prince Tyson II, Prince Adonis and Prince Rico.

Last year they were followed by cameras for the Netflix series At Home With the Furys, which took fans behind the scenes of their bustling lives.

The couple have frequently spoken about their desire to have more children, however last week Tyson shared that they’d lost their son earlier this year.

In May the Gypsy King, 36, was in Saudia Arabia preparing for a fight with Oleksandr Usyk while Paris was at home six months pregnant with their eighth child.

However, the day before the fight, Paris lost the baby and decided to delay telling him.

Now Paris has spoken about the decision she made to shield her husband from the news.

‘I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, he couldn’t make it better, or change what was going to come,’ she said.

‘But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life. He wouldn’t have been able to fight. His brain would have been all over the place. So, I made the decision to not tell him,’ she added when speaking to OK!

Not wanting to break the news over the phone, Paris waited for him to arrive home the next day.

‘I said I needed to talk to him without the children. I said, “I’ve lost the baby”, and he replied he knew. We had a cuddle and some affectionate time together, because it’s a very emotional thing.’

It was when going to a gender scan that Paris was told by a sonographer they couldn’t find a heart beat.

After breaking down in tears, Paris asked then to check again but she was then referred to a hospital to have the news confirmed.

Worried about her younger children, who didn’t know she was pregnant, seeing her cry, Paris went to her friend’s house to process the news and ‘cried on her shoulder for about an hour’.

When sharing the news of their heartbreaking loss publicly, Tyson said he’d feared the worst when he was told his wife was ill to attend his fight in Riyadh.

The boxer said he found it ‘tough’ he couldn’t be there for his wife.

The couple previously also lost two other babies.
