Paris Fashion Week street style: suiting and power skirts reigned supreme

Despite the almost inevitable Parisian drizzle, the style set have yet to let it permeate their flawless fashion choices so far during Paris Fashion Week.

Fashion month began with New York, then jumped across the pond to London, hopped on a plane to Milan and is now completing the circuit, with its last few days in Paris.

This season, brands have been showcasing their Spring/ Summer 2020 collections to rapturous applause.

The stand-out trends from the street style set have also been mirroring the recurring styles from the catwalks; suiting has been seen on the streets of every fashion capital, and was also seen at Saint Laurent where designer, Anthony Vaccarello, sent 37 iterations of the brand’s iconic Le Smoking suit down the runway.

Meanwhile still to come on the schedule, there’s Off-White’s show (sans its creative director, Virgil Abloh, as he takes time off due to health reasons), Hedi Slimane’s highly-anticipated Collection for Celine (RIP the accent) tomorrow evening and closing with Sarah Burton’s no-doubt ethereal Spring/ Summer 2020 collection Alexander McQueen on Tuesday.
