Kids really grow up fast these days.

But the parents of a 10-week-old weren’t expecting him to be talking already.

Mum Keisa Cameron, from New York, was holding her baby don Ronan in her lap and telling him ‘I love you’.

His grandmother Lara Skadsen was filming the moment when the baby repeated his mum’s words back to her.

Lara posted the video on TikTok and it soon went viral as people were amazed that he was able to repeat the sounds at under three months old.

She captioned the video: ‘Grandson is a genius! Watch!’

Keisa was overwhelmed and repeated ‘Oh my god’ after hearing what her son said.

According to Great Ormond Street Hospital, babies usually start producing strings of sounds towards the end of their first year of life.

Usually children start to attempt words like mama or dada around that point and will be able to use their voice to demand attention.

The NHS recommends you should chat to your baby and repeat sounds back to them from when they are born to help them build their speech and language skills.

Although Ronan could just be stringing sounds together, he seems to mimic the noises his mum makes to him.

People on TikTok loved the video and it soon racked up over 1million views.

One person joked: ‘Time for him to get a job and pay some bills!’

Another added: ‘OMG! He literally repeated what you said. Keep talking to him like a grown-up, he’s going to be a genius.’

Someone else said: ‘He’s like ‘why you guys freaking out?’
