The exact same bath fizzer can be bought at other retailers for as much as £7, so when one woman spotted it for a fraction of the price, she had to share.

Posting to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK  Facebook group, the savvy shopper said: “Wow, Poundland now sell Rainbow Trail bath fizzer only £1”, followed my a row of rainbow emojis.

And we thank her immensely for her thoughtful gesture because thanks to her, we’ll be enjoying a warm bath filled with all the colours of the rainbow – don’t judge, no one ever said it was just for kids.

It seems we aren’t the only ones excited by this revelation as the post has since racked up almost 8,000 comments and likes from eager bath-goers wanting to get their hands on a bit of rainbow magic.

Many took to the post to tag their family and friends, urging them to get in on the action, insisting their youngsters would love a rainbow bath – because, who wouldn’t?

Desperate to get her hands on some, one excited shopper tagged a friend and said: “If you see these anytime can you get me a fivers worth please. My two would LOVE these.”

While another said: “Wow, I [know] a little someone that would love these.”

Another savvy shopper called on a loved one to get in quick before they disappear, she said: “Girls would love this!! Next time you go to Poundland, can you have a look for them please?”

If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that they won’t last long on the shelves, because £1 for a  bathtub load of joy and happiness, we’ll be sure to snap up a few ourselves.
