Pamela Anderson is reported to have split from husband Jon Peters left than two weeks after they wed in secret.
More than 35 years after they first dated the couple married in a surprise ceremony last month.
However the actress has since confirmed that they are no longer together.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the 52-year-old said: ‘I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union.
‘We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another.
‘Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalisation of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy.’
Lasting 12 days it may be the shortest celebrity marriage, but let’s take a look back at other famous faces who have – very briefly, tied the knot.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
Kim married Kris in 2011 in a luxurious wedding that was aired as part of her TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Nicolas Cage and Erika Koike
The actor married his then-girlfriend Erika in March last year in Las Vegas after dating for a year.
However their union was shortlived as four days later they nixed it, applying for an annulment.
Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman
This Vegas wedding (we’re sensing a theme here) between Carmen and Dennis in 1998 ended after a mere nine days.
Drew Barrymore and Jeremy Thomas
The actress’ marriage to Jeremy Thomas back in 1994 lasted a month.
The Charlie’s Angels star was just 19 when she got hitched to the bar owner merely weeks after meeting.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth
Miley and Liam, who had been together on and off for 10 years, made a lot of their fans happy when they finally tied the knot in 2018.
