“Some of the places they go are incredible and he’s seeing the world doing a job he loves. But I do watch it thinking, ‘Oh my God’.”
In spite of her concerns, Christine insisted she is happy Paddy is “living his best life” as part of the programme’s presenting line-up alongside Chris Harris and Freddie Flintoff.
She added: “He’s pretty good at driving. He’s very sensible but when he’s on the show, he goes back to being a boy in a car. He loves it.
“It’s his dream job driving these cars and working with friends. He is living his best life.”
