Paddy McGuinness may have gone on a serious health kick last year, but he actually prefers being a bit ‘curvier’.

The Take Me Out presenter, 46, has put on three stone since 2019 and admitted he ‘definitely feels better’ now that he’s 15 stone.

Sharing a before and after snap on Instagram, he wrote: ‘Look at the difference!

‘I definitely feel better with a bit of weight on me. There’s 12 months between these pics.’

He went on: ‘I stripped right back to 12 stone, felt fit but looked ill. I’m now 15 stone and feeling stronger, having said that none of my suits fit me anymore!!!’

Welcome to our world after the festive season, Paddy.

And because no inspirational Instagram post is complete without a few hashtags, the comedian added: ‘#weightloss #weightgain #beforeandafter #thin #curvy.’

Paddy had admitted he was ‘too thin’ when he showed off his weight loss back in January 2019 after dropping two stone in four months.

Taking to Instagram, the star posed topless in a before and after snap, revealing he’d dropped from 14 and a half stone to just over 12 stone.

The father-of-three revealed: ‘I really enjoyed it and definitely could have got leaner but I began to feel a bit to thin.

‘I started at 92.7kg and finished at 78.7kg.’

Paddy added: ‘I still enjoy training but I don’t fancy stripping that much fat again. I now weigh 88.2kg with a 33” waist, I feel strong and good at that.’

His wife Christine commented underneath: ‘I love you in both’ and now our hearts are truly melted.

The TV star hit the headlines recently when his dating show Take Me Out was axed after 10 years due to flagging ratings.

Paddy joked that he was heading to the ‘job centre’ in a post reflecting on the cancellation.

‘Hello friends it’s time to say goodbye to Take Me Out, eight weddings, six babies and a generation of youngsters who have grown up watching us on Saturday night,’ he said.

’10 years that’s before Tinder, Snapchat, Twitter was a little baby, Instagram wasn’t a thing and Whatsapp that were just witchcraft.’
