Ozzy Osbourne cried when Jack told of divorce because he didn't want son to 'experience that pain'

He may have sung Iron Man with Black Sabbath.

But Ozzy Osbourne has a much softer side.

The 70-year-old legendary rocker cried when son Jack Osbourne told him he was getting a divorce his wife Sharon told People on Wednesday.

The 66-year-old media personality said: ‘With a guy, there’s only so much that I can say [and] that I can do. It’s really his dad that he talks to about that because Ozzy’s been divorced.’

The 34-year-old television personality began dating the male model earlier this year when they were spotted at events including the Chelsea Flower Show, All Points East festival, and London’s LGBT Awards, but after just a few months of dating, they have allegedly called time on their romance.

According to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, Kelly and Jimmy split last month, after finding it difficult to spend time together due to their hectic work schedules.

A source told the publication: ‘Kelly and Jimmy initially seemed really well suited and were incredibly smitten. But sadly, in the last few months of their relationship, they started to argue a lot.

‘It just made sense for them to go their separate ways as they wanted different things.’

Despite the bad news, the Osbournes star is believed to still be in high spirits, after celebrating two years of sobriety last week.
