It’s unknown when Mark and Julia started dating but they got engaged in April this year.

Earlier this year, Julia’s performance in Ozark won a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series.

She’s also starring in the upcoming thriller, The Assistant, which is inspired by Harvey Weinstein.

Julia plays a downtrodden assistant, terrified of her boss, with Kitty Green at the helm.

The movie is set over just one day of assistant Jane’s (Garner) life as a recent college graduate and aspiring film producer, who’s hired by a powerful entertainment industry boss.

According to the official synopsis: ‘Her day is much like any other assistant’s — making coffee, changing the paper in the copy machine, ordering lunch, arranging travel, taking phone messages, onboarding a new hire.

‘As Jane follows her daily routine, she, and we, grow increasingly aware of the abuse that insidiously colors every aspect of her work day, an accumulation of degradations against which Jane decides to take a stand, only to discover the true depth of the system into which she has entered.’

The Assistant is due to be released 31 January 2020.
