Caitriona stars in Kenneth Branagh’s new film, Belfast, and fans might be keen to understand more about the actress’ personal life before heading to cinemas.
The actress suggested that the fame that came along with her rise after Outlander was responsible for a lot of difficulties that bled into her private life.
The star was pregnant while the sixth season of the show was being filmed, which is due to premier on March 6.

She said that she kept the news of her pregnancy off social media, but announced the birth of her son in a slightly different way.
The on-screen star took to Instagram on August 18 and uploaded a picture in black and white of a small hand holding her own.
She reminded fans that she was not hiding her pregnancy, just that she preferred to be less clear about her personal life when it came to anyone outside of her immediate close friends and family.
Caitriona said: “It’s not like I was hiding my pregnancy.
She also recently discussed how she had a difficult time during her pregnancy.
Before working as an actress, the star was a catwalk model for high end fashion designers such as Channel and Givenchy.
She gave an interview with Elle in December where she spoke about how she was pregnant for the entire sixth season of filming.
She said: “Pregnant for the entire season, yeah!”
