Our Yorkshire Farm's neighbours addresses downsides of show 'We don't watch it'

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen and her family have captivated audiences as they give viewers an insight into their lives on Ravensneat Farm. The shepherdess has shared the trials and tribulations of farming life alongside her husband Clive and their nine children.

The Channel 5 star’s neighbours, who have lived on Ravensneat Farm for a decade, have witnessed the family’s rise to fame.

Patricia and Ronald Tyler, who are aged 66 and 74, retired to the remote part of the Yorkshire Dales for a quieter life.

The couple purchased an old farmhouse next to the Owen’s 2,000 acre farm as they divulged what life is really like when the cameras are no longer rolling.

The neighbours revealed that when Clive first moved to the farm he was living alone.

“We don’t watch it. It’s too real for us. We already know everything that happens,” said Mrs Tyler.

The Tylers were living next door to the Owens before the arrival of their nine children – Annas, Violet, Edith, Raven, Clemmy, Nancy, Reuben, Miles, and Sidney.

Elsewhere, Amanda recently turned heads after she took to social media in a blue bikini earlier this week.

The shepherdess, who regularly documents her home life, found a way to make the most of the warm weather as she tended to her farming chores.

She could be seen sporting the swimwear while rounding up her cattle in order to move them to new pasture, before going for a dip in the river.

“C’mon, C’mon,” she shouted to the cows while carrying a bag of food to entice the animals.

“Moving cows to some of our outlying Summer grazing pastures. #yorkshire #summer #grazing #sunshine #cows,” she captioned a video of her at work.

Talking to the camera while wearing her blue bikini, Amanda said: “I’m moving the cows this morning and putting them in some remote pastures.

“Away from where people walk where they can have peace and quiet,” she added.

Our Yorkshire Farm is available to stream on My5.
