Our tips on how to spice it up with your lover in lockdown

ISOLATION needn’t get in the way of romance . . . so long as you are in lockdown with your lover!

Why not get creative and bring date-night home? It need not cost a bundle.

Here are my favourite ways to get that lovin’ feeling going indoors.

Show time. If a trip to the theatre is usually on the cards, it still can be — with a digitaltheatre.com subscription.

For £9.99 a month you get access to the best theatre productions, or you can rent individual productions with prices starting at just £7.99.

If you want to get creative, tape old loo-roll tubes together for a pair of fun opera glasses . . .

Come dine with me. Take it in turns to cook up a storm.

There are countless recipes online using minimal ingredients.

Or challenge yourself to see how well you know your partner.

New members who sign up to topcashback.co.uk can get £15 cashback on their Just Eat order when made through the TopCashback website.

Try ordering each other’s meals to see whether you get their favourite dish or not.

Spa break. Nothing beats a bit of relaxation and there is plenty you can do together.

Grab two large bowls, two towels and stick the kettle on.

Fill up the bowls halfway with hot water and if you have any essential oils to hand, add a drop or two.

Place your face near the top of the bowl and cover your head with the towel.

Stay put for five minutes to get a soothing steam facial.

Sweat sesh. Like they say: “Couples who train together stay together.”

Head to YouTube for some great couples’ workout tutorials.

Double date. A cinema trip with your pals might be off the cards but with Netflix Party, you and your friends can watch films and shows together at the same time in a group.

Just download the extension online.
