If you’re going to the post-Oscars Vanity Fair party, you’ve got to pull out all the style-related stops.

And Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did just that, stepping out in suitably gorgeous outfits for the star-studded event.

Style wasn’t all they shared, either – the couple shared some cute PDA as the paparazzi took their picture.

Kim, 39, wore a stunning Alexander McQueen piece for the big night, wearing a 2003 Oyster gown (a name that was given by the late designer himself) from the Shipwreck collection.

And although the mum-of-four looked stunning in the shredded gown, she admitted that it wasn’t exactly comfortable.

Filming herself in the car on the way to the party on her Instagram Stories, Kim said: ‘I literally have to lay down in the car.

‘Like I cannot sit up because my dress will rip or pop or something. But it’s worth it. McQueen.’

Kanye wore a black leather suit teamed with tan boots, a thick neck chain and his signature sunglasses.

The stars went to town with their poses, even posing on either side of a glass wall with their hands pressed to each other’s from either side. Cute and chic.

The Kardashian-Wests were not the only stars to make a sartorial statement at the Oscars.

Natalie Portman made a feminist statement on the award ceremony’s red carpet by embroidering all the surnames of the female directors who weren’t nominated onto her gown.

She explained to a red carpet reporter why she chose to make the statement in her outfit, explaining: ‘I wanted to recognise the women who were not recognised for their incredible work this year, in my subtle way.’
