Not only is Orlando Bloom very, very excited to have a baby with Katy Perry, he’s also a dab hand at a bit of wordplay.
The 43-year-old and his singer fiancée had everyone shook earlier this week when they announced they’re expecting their first child together.
K-Pez teased the news by showing off her baby bump in a music video, before gushing about their excitement in an Instagram Live.
And now Orly’s at it too.
The Lord Of The Rings star shared a snap of Katy posing in a colourful dress in Melbourne – where she performed a gig – on Instagram on Saturday.
‘My babies blooming ❤️’ Orlando wrote.
We see what you did there, you cheeky devil, and we appreciate it.
So do Orlando’s ten billion showbiz mates, by the looks of it.
Millie Bobby Brown commented under the snap, ‘So happy for you both,’ while Charlie Puth added: ‘Amazing bro.’
Orlando also has a nine-year-old son named Flynn from his previous marriage to Australian model Miranda Kerr, 36, who he was married to between 2010 and 2013.
It’s Katy’s first foray into parenthood, however, and she couldn’t contain herself as she confirmed the news on Instagram.
‘I’m excited, we’re excited, and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep,’ the Teenage Dream singer said.
‘I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.’
The Dark Horse singer also joked on Twitter that she’s ‘so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore… or carry around a big purse’.
Katy later revealed that the baby was ‘not an accident’ and that she and Orlando had actively been planning to start a family.
She continued: ‘I’m so grateful for everything that I have been able to do and achieve and all the goals that I’ve been able to check off my list and dreams and the life I’ve lived thus far.
‘I’ve just been trying to create this space in my own life where I’m not running myself too ragged and creating space for something new to pop in like this.’
