Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the latest production from director Quentin Tarantino set to screen in Scottish cinemas next week.
The highly-anticipated offering from the cult-director opened to much critical acclaim in the USA last month.
The plot synopsis describes the film as a “modern fairy tale tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.”
The movie’s all-star cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie in the lead roles.

When will Once Upon A Time In Hollywood be released in the UK?
Select theatres will screen the movie on Wednesday, August 14 before it goes on general release on Thursday, August 15.
What’s the plot?
When early news of Tarantino’s project broke, the buzz was that he was ‘making a film about Charles Manson’. As we now know, this is only partially true.
While Charles Manson (played by Damon Herriman) does makes an appearance in the movie, the real focus is on faded TV star Rick Dalton (played by DiCaprio) and his friend and former stunt double Cliff Booth (played by Brad Pitt).
Together, the pair live together next door to Sharon Tate (played by Margot Robbie) and Roman Polanski (played by Rafal Zawierucha) who were murdered by the Manson Family in August 1969.
The central theme of the film centres around Dalton’s attempts to reignite his dwindling acting career.
It is said that Di Caprio and his relationship with Booth is based loosely on that of actor Burt Reynolds and his long-term stunt double Hal Needham.
Who else is in the movie?
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also features Emile Hirsch, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, Al Pacino, Damian Lewis plus Tarantino regulars Kurt Russell and Zoe Bell.
