Olivia Colman really wants a part in Bond 25 and we would love to see this become a reality.

The actress admitted she’s trying to pull as many strings as she can to nab herself a role in the highly-anticipated flick and is desperate for her pal Phoebe Waller-Bridge – who has been working on the script – to write in a cheeky part for her.

‘Trust me, I’ve tried! I’ve asked!’ the 45-year-old admitted to Entertainment Weekly.

And she might just manage to get her wish because it’s not the first time she’s convinced the Fleabag star to create a role for her.

Indeed, the actress also asked for the talented screenwriter to create her hilarious Godmother role.

‘I think I begged Phoebe to be in it when she was writing the first [season],’ Olivia explained. ‘I will be eternally grateful to Phoebe, because she said, “What sort of things do you want to say?”

‘And I went, “Could you write me someone who’s a total [spells out a four-letter expletive]?”. So she made up this person for me. Yeah. I always wanted to play the baddie and she’s written a really good one.’

Fans won’t have to wait too long for Olivia to make a cameo in an iconic franchise because the Oscar-winner is the latest star to lend her voice to The Simpsons.

The Favourite star, who is about to make a star turn as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, has been confirmed to be heading to Springfield in its 31st season.

In the episode, she will be playing ‘the most down home femme fatale ever’ who is used to getting her own way when it comes to the opposite sex.

Yet, despite getting any man she wants, for some reason that will become apparent soon enough, she finds herself falling in love with married slob Homer. Knowing Homer, he will be completely oblivious to it all…but for how long?

The Simpsons executive producer James L Brooks confirmed the news to Entertainment Weekly and declared her guest spot as ‘one of the best in Simpsons history’.
