Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's brutal assessment of Man Utd top four rivals Arsenal and Chelsea

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed his Manchester United players to finish in the top four.

United have lost five of their last six matches in all competitions and have slipped down to sixth in the Premier League table.

They face Chelsea on Sunday at Old Trafford knowing a defeat will end their hopes of finishing in the top four.

But the Sun reports Solskjaer has told his players they will qualify for the Champions League because their top four rivals will blow it in their final three matches.

It is suggested the United boss even branded Arsenal and Chelsea ‘bottlers’ after a poor run of form.

Despite a poor run of form, United are only three points off Chelsea in fourth and just two behind Arsenal.

Maurizio Sarri’s Blues have only won two of their last four while Arsenal have managed just one victory in that time.

The Gunners are at Leicester on Sunday before the crunch clash in the race for the top four at Old Trafford.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Solskjaer admitted: “Sunday is a massive one.

“Sunday is something that we have to get ready for, the crowd has got to get ready for, the players have got to get ready for.

“Of course we have analysed them and let’s just make sure we turn up on Sunday with the same attitude and a little bit more quality in front of goal.

“Hopefully we can get the win everyone here wants and the fans deserve, the players deserve.

“They have made a terrific effort to give us a chance with three games to go to be in the top four.”
