‘Old Town Road’ rapper Lil Nas X collaborates with BTS star RM on new remix

Lil Nas X has released yet another remix of his juggernaut single “Old Town Road”, this time with rapper RM of K-pop superstars BTS.

Titled “Seoul Town Road” in a hat-tip to RM’s hometown, the latest rendition features a slightly reworked chorus and a brand new verse that makes a pun out of an old Korean farming tool, the ho-mi.

“I got the homis in my back / Have you heard of that? / Homis made of steel from Korea, they the best-t-t / Riding to the farm / Grabbing all the corn / We gon’ get yo’ money with my homi in your backyard,” he raps.

Soon after the track was released, Lil Nas X promised fans on Twitter that this would be the “last one, I promise”.

However, he made the same vow earlier this month after another string of remixes were released, including versions featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, Diplo, Young Thug and Mason Ramsey.

“Old Town Road” is currently on track to break a record for the most weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 (17). He is currently tied with Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men with “One Sweet Day”, and “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, at 16 weeks.
