That’s a 40 per cent discount – or £200 off – the usual football pass price of £399.99.

The offer is available until August 26 2019 and the pass lasts for 10 months.

So if you sign up now, it’ll expire on 29 May 2020 once the football season has finished.

With it, you get access to 128 Premier League games – and only Now TV owner Sky Sports has the rights to this many games.

There are 760 Premier League games in total – each of the 20 teams plays 38 games – but not all are broadcast to the public. The 3pm kick-offs, for example, are never broadcast.

How the pass compares

Sky and Now TV have the rights to broadcast the same 128 Premier League games, while BT Sport has the rights to just 52 in comparison.

So get excited to see Chelsea vs. Leicester City, Wolves vs. Manchester United and many more games that are included in your NowTV football pass.

But if you’re a fan of other sports, this might not be for you though, as the pass only covers football.

In comparison, Sky Sports currently has an offer on its “Premier League and Football” package reduced from £22 a month to £18 a month.

But you have to get a Sky Entertainment package costing £22 a month on top for a minimum of an 18-month contract.

So that’s a total cost for Entertainment and Sport of £720 for both over 18 months.

Line rental on top is an extra £25 a month on Sky with a 12 month contract – plus £20 upfront.

In comparison, BT Sport costs from £39.99 a month for a 24-month contract – it does include line rental though, which Sky’s price doesn’t.

So that’s £959.76 over the two-year contract.

BT Sport is also available at varying costs to Sky and TalkTalk customers.

You will also soon be able to watch Premier League matches via Amazon if you’re not a Sky or BT customer – it has the rights to 20 games this year, but these are all December kick-offs.

A spokesperson from comparison site Broadbandchoices said: “The Football Season Ticket allows fans to enjoy a big piece of Premier League action at a fraction of the full price.

“Now TV gives fans access to all 128 matches available on Sky Sports, and paying upfront makes it even better value.

“£199 for a front row seat at another gripping football season is likely to entice hordes of fans who don’t want to commit to signing up to a full Sky subscription.”

Ernest Doku from comparison site uSwitch.com, added: “The Football Season Ticket allows fans to enjoy a big piece of Premier League action at a fraction of the full price.”

He goes on to say that, “NOW TV gives fans access to all 128 matches available on Sky Sports, and paying upfront makes it even better value.”

How to get the deal

NowTV’s offer is available to all customers – regardless of your TV provider – and is contract-free.

But if you do take up the offer remember to cancel your subscription or trial before it expires, else you risk being charged the full £33.99 amount each month afterwards.

To cancel your subscription, you just need to go to “My Account” on the website and click on “Passes & Vouchers”.

You can even cancel immediately on signing up and your pass will still be valid for the remaining 10 months.

NowTV regularly offers up a variety of deals and discounts but this one-off payment might just be the save of the season.

But it is obviously a huge chunk of money so do think carefully before you splurge and read through all T&Cs before you purchase.

NowTV recently came under fire for hiking prices by 30 per cent, charging customers up to £24 a year for the streaming service.

But you can get Sky TV contract-free regardless of who your television and broadband providers are – thanks to NowTV.
