Nominations open for the MCV Women in Games Awards 2019

Nominations opened today for the 2019 MCV Women in Games Awards. There are ten categories in this year’s awards, celebrating the hard work, incredible achievements and outstanding talent of women in the UK games industry. Once again the trophies will be presented at Facebook’s central London offices on the 28th of June.

We’ve tried to keep the process of nominations as simple as possible. You can nominate yourself or have a colleague, peer or friend nominate you. We simply require some basic details for both the nominee and nominator, a supporting statement detailing the nominees achievements over the last 12 months, and a headshot.

We’ve reworked this year’s categories somewhat in order to better balance entries across all ten awards. If you’re unsure which category best suits the nominees contribution then it is possible to enter them in more than one category, though we will make a ruling here on which one they are judged in.

Please feel free to contact us directly if you’re unsure about which category best suits your nominee, by emailing seth.barton@biz-media.co.uk.
