Noel Gallagher hits back at Liam's claim he is greedy

So after all the hype about an Oasis reunion, it looks like it is now definitely maybe half the world away as Noel Gallagher says he has never been offered any amount of money to reform.

He took to Twitter to set the record straight, while slamming his little brother for still promoting old Oasis songs.  He said: “So..just while I’m in between having my nails done and taking my regular elocution lessons I’d like to point out AGAIN that I’m not aware of any offer for any amount of money to reform the legendary rock’n’folk outfit Oasis.”

He added: “I think someone has still someone else’s tunes to promote so that’s maybe what’s causing the confusion. Although-sadly-it is true that there are almost 11 tickets left for my upcoming shows in MCR. Don’t worry folks only 13 more years left now before I retire.”

Liam has frequently publicly courted Noel for a reunion, despite Noel saying he has never been approached with an amount of money like Liam has claimed.

The rift between the pair has been rumbling on for years ever since they split after a ‘huge fight’ where Liam smashed Noel’s guitar just minutes before they were meant to appear on stage at Rock en Seine in 2009. A sign appeared on stage saying: “As a result of an altercation within the band, the Oasis gig has been cancelled.”

Ever since the brothers have been known to engage in notorious Twitter spats.

Scots music boss Alan McGee took Oasis to worldwide fame after discovering them at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut.

The band later signed to Sony records where they enjoyed great early success with their first album Definitely Maybe, released in 1994.
