Noel Gallagher accuses Liam of sending threats to his teenage daughter in Twitter row

Noel Gallagher has accused his brother Liam of ‘sending threatening messages’ to his teenage daughter Anaïs, in a feud that has erupted via social media.

On Twitter, Gallagher posted a screenshot of a text Liam allegedly sent to Anaïs after Gallagher’s wife Sara McDonald posted her own negative Instagram message about Liam’s Glastonbury Festival performance. Liam wrote: “Tell your step mam to be very careful”.

McDonald had previously posted on Instagram, in a reply to a follower’s comment, that she would not be watching Liam’s Glastonbury performance. “The fat twat doing his tribute act,” McDonald wrote, “balancing a tambourine on his head is going to look pretty dated after Stormzy.”

Liam then reportedly texted Anaïs a screenshot of the comment along with the warning “Tell your step mam to be very careful”.

In response, Noel Gallagher has condemned Liam himself. In a lengthy comment written on his Notes app and posted to his Twitter as a screenshot, Noel wrote: “So you’re sending threatening messages via my teenage daughter, are you now? You were always good at intimidating women though, eh?”

He continued, “What you planning on doing anyway? Grabbing my wife by the throat to show her who’s boss? Or maybe trying to waddle through our double gates and performing [sic] ‘S***wave’ in the communal garden or daubing your w*** lyrics on the toilet walls?

“If I wake up and find one of the kids’ gerbils upside down on the cheese board with a knife in it, I’ll be sure to inform the local care in the community officer. And don’t try and kidnap the cat either, we’ve just employed Ross Kemp as his close protection officer.”

In a pithy sign off, Noel added: “Enjoy the summer, Big Tits. Catch up soon.”

The tweets only add further animosity to the long-running feud between both brothers, who have waged a war of words through the press since the disbandment of Oasis in 2010.
