The Labour Party leader has accelerated plans to oust Boris Johnson and take power at 10 Downing Street which could see him being installed as a caretaker Prime Minister. Jeremy Corbyn wants to call a no confidence vote in the Government, which would require majority support from the House of Commons, at the “earliest opportunity when we can be confident of success”.
He also wants to delay Brexit beyond the October 31 deadline by extending the Article 50 process in opposition to Mr Johnson who has insisted Britain will leave the European Union on that date, “do or die”.
Should Mr Corbyn win a no confidence vote, the Labour leader plans to delay Brexit, call a snap election and campaign for another referendum.
But Chris Wright, who founded Heart Radio and LBC, and was also once owner of Queens Park Rangers Football Club, has launched a scathing attack against Mr Corbyn, accusing him of being incapable of understanding the needs of young voters post-Brexit, labelling him “inept, indecisive and weak”.
Mr Wright told Express.co.uk: “The Conservative Government is hanging by a thread with a majority of just one, with a leader elected by 0.25 percent of the population, and even more divided amongst itself than it was at the time David Cameron called the referendum to heal the division in his party.

“You would therefore expect Labour to be soaring in the polls and indeed on the brink of dismantling the current Government, but the reason that this is not happening is almost entirely down to the leadership.
“Whilst many accuse Jeremy Corbyn of anti-Semitism, the main complaints that one would lay at his door are that he is too old, and looks too old, to appeal to the vast majority of young voters who see Brexit as a threat to their future.
“He appears to be intellectually incapable, and being manipulated by a small group of fanatics who control him and probably, most importantly of all, he appears to be inept, indecisive and weak.”
Mr Wright also attacked Labour for destroying the soft left and losing the working class values he grew up with as a youngster in Lincolnshire.

But in a further scathing attack, the music industry executive warned Mr Corbyn’s support, even amongst his own party, has diminished such “there is no point” in him now.
The Labour leader has suffered another major blow after an Express.co.uk poll revealed a huge number of readers would not vote for Mr Corbyn in a general election.
The poll, which ran from 12pm until 8pm on Thursday, August 15, asked: “Would you want Jeremy Corbyn to be Prime Minister?”
A total of 22,773 readers participated, with a massive 91.8 percent (20,915 people) voting “No, this would not be good”.

Just 8.2 percent (1,858 readers) voted “Yes, what a great idea”.
Last week a YouGov poll showed Mr Johnson is winning over voters with a nine point lead over the main opposition party.
The poll surveyed 1,628 adults from August 5-6, with voting intention figures putting the Tories on 31 percent, with Labour languishing on 22 percent and the Liberal Democrats a close third on 21 percent.
When asked who they would prefer to be Prime Minister, 39 percent backed Mr Johnson, with just 19 percent voting for the Labour leader.

Mr Wright also warned the Labour leader needs to be “removed” if Britain is to have any hope of escaping the political crisis it has found itself engulfed in.
He told Express.co.uk: “His clear pro-Brexit beliefs are causing a split between him and the urban elite, well educated of liberal beliefs and tendencies.
“Although he may still carry some sway in traditional working class seats in the north of England, his prevarication on Brexit is unlikely to endear him to this section of society either.
“He is clearly a man with little or no support from any of the effective organs from which this should be coming.

There is no point in Jeremy Corbyn right now.
“He is the ‘dead hand on the tiller’.
“He needs to be removed if the country is to have any chance of escaping from the crisis it faces.
“It is as simple as that.”
