Nipsey Hussle has been remembered by Lauren London as ‘her king’ in a heartwarming poem celebrating his 34th birthday.

Posting photos of Nipsey and her during their relationship, Lauren celebrated her time with the rapper and told him via her message that he was ‘still here holding it up’ as she loved and missed him.

In one photo, Lauren and Nipsey were seen sharing dinner together, with Lauren staring lovingly at her beau through the candlelight.

In another, the rapper was seen posing for a professional shot at an event.

In the message, Lauren wrote: ‘Ermias wasn’t a sad soul. He was a powerful strong magical soul.
Today is the day we lift up.’

Among the commemorations to continue the rapper’s legacy, his clothing store is building a tower in his honour, and continues to run in his name.

Nipsey, real name Ermias Asghedom, was shot and killed in April this year outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles.

He left behind two children – Emani, 10, from his previous relationship with Tanisha Foster, and his two-year-old son, Kross, which he had with Lauren.

Lauren and Nipsey had been together for six years before his death.

Lauren’s full poem to Nipsey

Today we celebrate You my beloved
Today we honor you King
We are to live in our highest vibrations today because that is how Nip lived his life
We should encourage and inspire today because that is how Hussle lived his life
Today we should love and give truth because that is how He lived his life
His Purpose still lives on with us all
Ermias wasn’t a sad soul
He was a powerful strong magical soul
Today is the day we lift up

Long Live My other half
My beloved King
Ermias
Nip Hussle The Great!
I miss you
I love you
Still here holding it UP!

He has since been honoured with a humanitarian award at the BET Awards for his work within the local community prior to his death.

A public memorial to the star was held at Staples centre a week after his death due to the sheer number of mourners.

Lauren’s nine-year-old son Cameron was among those who spoke on stage in tribute to him.
