Nicole Scherzinger: Pussycat Dolls reunion CONFIRMED? Star adds more fuel to the fire

Nicole Scherzinger made a triumphant return to talent show The X Factor this year with her old boss of the ITV programme Simon Cowell for a special celebrity edition. The American personality was also reunited with music manager Louis Walsh and has seen the show undergoing a number of shake-ups. But while fans continue to watch the series that is seeing Megan McKenna shooting to the top, many have become more interested in whether the star will return to her original roots.

Scherzinger was the “lead” singer and one dancer in the music girl band The Pussycat Dolls.

She joined the likes of Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt to form the group founded in Los Angeles.

The ensemble were initially branded a burlesque troupe, and quickly saw Scherzinger rise to the top, particularly in the band’s heyday of hit songs Don’t Cha, I Hate This Part and the later released Jai Ho!

The group later broke up and Scherzinger branched out on her own, becoming a judge on The X Factor following a highly-publicised relationship with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, which fell apart in 2015.

Tonight sees Scherzinger making an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show alongside her fellow X Factor judges, but she makes a very surprising admission about the possibility of a return to the Pussycat Dolls.

Could a reunion be on the cards for the singers? Is it water under the bridge for the group?

After being asked about the possibility by the chat show host, Scherzinger

“I can’t confirm anything right now but I wouldn’t rule it out,” she teases. “We are talking.”

“And the fact that you are talking means there’s a good chance of it happening?” Jonathan presses.

“Yes,” Nicole confirms. “We haven’t talked in many years so we are talking now…”

Ashley Roberts has also spoken out about her former bandmate’s comments.

“I can say I wouldn’t rule [the reunion] out either,” she said on her radio show on Heart FM. “I will agree with her on that.”

During tonight’s Jonathan Ross Show, Scherzinger reveals how she manages being on three different TV shows all around the world.

Working as a judge on The X Factor: Celebrity in the UK, The Masked Singer in the USA and Australia’s Got Talent, she says: “I don’t sleep. I don’t really have a life.

“When I land I go straight to a work out and straight to set, film and then fly back to America.”

The Jonathan Ross Show airs tonight at 10pm on ITV.
