While her fellow judge Simon Cowell was not in attendance, the former Pussycat Dolls showed off a peek of her toned abs in a grey patterned asymmetrical crop top and matching figure-hugging ruffled midi skirt.

This comes after Nicole explained why the celebrity version differs from the civilian edition.
She revealed: ‘Obviously it’s a lot shorter, which is the difference between The X Factor: Celebrity and the ones in the past.
‘This one doesn’t have boot camp and all that jazz, and I loved that we just cut straight to the chase. I was really excited to see who the celebrities were going to be.’

‘Oh always!’ she insisted. ‘You can’t take that out of me! I’m just going to be very supportive.
‘This year I think the way Simon has done it is that we help them and support them. In the past when I did it, I was quite hands-on and did a lot. But I’m ready to see what they are going to bring to this show.’

While Simon, 60, was not in attendance, days before he revealed the reason why he decided to revamp the normal show into a celebrity version.
‘It just felt so obvious to do a celebrity version’, he explained. ‘The only condition was I couldn’t know who was going to be on it. I said to the team, “You’ve got to find some acts who you believe can sell records off the back of this, because if you don’t do that it won’t work.”
‘So that was the deal and we stuck to it. I swear to God I didn’t have a clue who any of the acts were. I did walk away thinking, “If we’re smart, we have artists here who could actually sell records off the back of this”. So I thought that was fun and very exciting for the show.’

Returning judge Louis, 67, revealed why he’s so excited about the show, adding that the contestants are not what people will expect.
He said: ‘What we’re doing this year I think is a brilliant idea. I think everyone’s going to love watching these celebrities because it’s not what people expect. Some of them are really good.
‘The show feels more exciting, there’s no bootcamp, no six chair challenge, it feels slick this year. It’s been the best show on TV for a long time and has just had a little rebranding, I suppose, a new X Factor.’

Why is she taking part? Why not? Really. For me it’s really a why not situation. I’ve had a 30 plus year career where I’ve gotten to do so many different things. I get to prove myself in different ways, reinvent myself and I’m all about that, especially now that I’m 50. Why not?

Who is she? Megan made her name on Ex On The Beach before joining the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2016
Is she nervous about performing for Simon? Wow, it’s a big deal because I just think Simon could say one thing and it can make people change their mind about you, you know? I think a lot of people listen to Simon’s opinions, but I really respect Simon. I always have.

How will they respond to criticism? Brendan: You’ve got to know your place in the chain, and my place in this chain is not, “I know what’s best.” I can’t promise that I will bite my tongue. I haven’t been able to promise that in the last 43 years, so I won’t start making promises now.

Name: Jonny Labey

Who is he? Johnny is an actor who is best known for playing Paul Coker on EastEnders from 2015 to 2016
What would it mean to get through to the live shows? It would mean a lot, obviously. I’ve always been more of like a visual showman. I’d like to be able to bring that side out. I want to focus on this singing for this stage of the competition, and then hopefully if I get through, then I can really start working on creating some amazing performances, working the dancers and creating a real TV moment.
OLIVIA OLSON
Name: Olivia Olson
Age: 27
Who is she? Olivia is an actress and singer and is best remembered for her role as Joanna in Love Actually while she is also known for her voice work in Phineas and Feb
Is she nervous about the show? Yeah. I’m more nervous about the performance aspect of it than I am the singing aspect. I know I can sing, it’s just been a while since I’ve really been critiqued on everything.

Name: Max and Harvey Age: Both 16 Who are they? Max and Harvey are identical twin singers from Berkshire who rose to fame on social app musical.ly How do they feel about performing for the judges? Harvey: We’re excited to meet all of them. It’s going to be quite weird to see them in person for the first time after seeing them on TV for years. I’ll bet they’ll give us a load of knowledge, and tips to take away.

How do they feel about performing together? Thom: It’s been amazing fun so far. I’ve known Ben for a long time and it’s funny, we used to go to rugby camps when we were kids and we’d always be singing in the back of the car. Actually, the singing culture in rugby is quite a big thing.

Who is she? Jenny is one of the five chasers on British game show The Chase, alongside Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty and Paul Sinha
Why is she taking part? It’s a proper departure for me. It’s a real adventure. I’m nothing if I’m not up for a challenge, so let’s go for it and see how far I go on this particular journey. It’s very exciting.

Is he nervous about performing for Simon? So during Glee, we performed on The X Factor in the UK, and I remember meeting Simon before, and he was super, super nice. The whole illusion of him being really awful, so it had sort of faded for me, but then we were on that stage singing, and I knew we weren’t being judged but I still couldn’t look at him. I was like, “Oh God.”

How do they feel about performing for the judges? Wes said: I’m well excited. It’s mad. For the first week or two of rehearsals, I was so nervous. I couldn’t even hold a piece of paper, I was shaking so much. Now, after all the hard work we’ve put in, I have zero nerves whatsoever!

Name: Hayley Hasselhoff

Who is she? Hayley is an actress and singer, best known for her role in ABC Family’s Huge. She is also the daughter of actor David Hasselhoff
Why is she doing the show? I’ve always wanted to get back into music and I’ve always wanted to find my artistry again. I’ve worked in the studio over the years after I had a band with my sister, but acting got in the way. I’ve just been focusing on fashion and acting, I think that music is something that you want to give your whole entire heart to.
MARTIN BASHIR
Name: Martin Bashir

Who is he? Martin is a journalist who came to prominence for his BBC interview with Diana, Princess of Wales and a controversial ITV documentary on Michael Jackson
How does he feel about performing for the judges? Funnily enough, Louis and Nicole strike me, and I could be wrong, but they strike me as being relatively sympathetic. But Mr. Cowell – he’s the problem!

Name: Victoria Ekanoye Age: 36 Who is she? Victoria is an actress best known for starring as Angie Appleton on Coronation Street Will everyone at Coronation Street be supporting her? Absolutely. They already are! Honestly, they’re an amazing bunch and really funny. There’s just so much support with anything that anyone does. I’ve made some real friends from the show and I love that because it’s not always the case on a job. They’re good eggs.
