Nicola McLean says I'm A Celeb's Frankie Bridge is totally different in real life

Nicola McLean has shared her brutally honest opinion on the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and the show’s star-studded lineup.

The ex campmate has been watching the hit ITV show and said that one of the contestants is very different on-screen from how she found her in real life.

Nicola, who starred on the show in 2008, said that Frankie Bridge is a lot louder on the 2021 series than she found her when meeting her on a previous TV job.

She said: “Frankie was a lot louder than I expected, I worked with her once and she was super quiet.

Frankie is one of the ten contestants on this year’s show

“I did a show with Frankie and she was really quiet, much more shy, than she appeared last night and I know that she had been doing Loose Women and she’s great on that, maybe that has given her some confidence.

She continued: “She was brilliant in the trial, she just went for it she’s clearly competitive.

“Her husband Wayne was on the show a few years ago and she said she wanted to beat him which I totally understand because when you’re married to a footballer – they’re good at everything and they beat you at everything so it would be nice for her to come out on top.

Nicola said Frankie was a lot quieter in real life

“I thought she comes across really well a lot more confident than I thought she would have been. I predict she will do really well as well I think she will be in the top three for sure.”

Nicola divulged her opinions during a Daily Star Facebook Live interview with showbiz reporter Carly Hacon and will be returning for another Monday.

During the first chat, she said that she believed Emmerdale’s Danny Miller had a “game-plan” and thought he was acting up to the cameras to get more airtime.

She thought that Danny has a “game-plan”

Nicola stated: “I’m not sure whether Danny is already playing a game because I cannot see if you are that sort of… If you gag a lot, if you’re sick, you’ve already been sick twice in the helicopter and swallowed it, why would you carry on saying this, of course, you know you’re gonna get the eating trial.

“I don’t know if he wanted the eating trial cause it is the best trial to get.

“Because it’s the one people remember. I’m not upset if he’s playing the game but I can’t see that’s he’s not.”

I’m A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV and ITVHub at 9pm
