NICKI Minaj pays tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack while performing at the venue last night.
The rapper, who was in Manchester as part of her world tour, took time out of during the gig to honour the people killed at the arena.
Performing her sold-out show, Nicki Wrld Tour, the singer remembered the victims of the Ariana Grande gig in May 2017, where 22 people were killed.
Having supported her friend and the fellow singer, Nicki took a few moments to dedicate love to the victims and highlight that the shocking event had not been forgotten.
The touching video was filmed by fans and posted on social media with the audience calling it ‘touching’ and ‘beautiful’.
The star said: “I want to take a moment to remember the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack.
“Put your light in the sky for everybody we lost.”
Her instructions saw the audience waving their phones in the air to show their solidarity and unity.
She continued: “God bless the families of everybody who survived them, and God bless Manchester for being resilient and not bowing down to fear.
“For being strong no matter what. No matter what.”
Nicki later wrote on Instagram about the gig and said: “Ok #Manchester has stolen my heart & that’s on period. Don’t @ me #YourLove.”
Fans camped outside the arena for up to nine hours to make sure they got to the front row to see the global star, calling it the ‘best day of their lives’.
Soon after the terror attacks two years ago, Nicki reached out to singer Ariana and said: “My heart hurts for my sister, Ariana & every family affected by this tragic event in the U.K. Innocent lives lost. I’m so sorry to hear this.”
Nicki recently posted a sweet photo of her and her boyfriend when they were together as kids. She wrote alongside the old photo: “When we were younger I liked his nose & he liked that tooth sticking out my mouth.
“I hated having to smile cuz I didn’t want anyone to see it. He still brings that tooth up all the time.
“He says he misses it. Should I get that tooth back y’all? The original Kirsten Dunst.”
The 36-year-old recently fuelled speculation that she has secretly married the childhood sweetheart Kenny Petty and the sex offender after calling him her husband.
