Nick Jonas, 26, took the opportunity to reflect on his storybook romance with wife Priyanka Chopra, 36, as the couple celebrated the anniversary of their first date. The pair were friends for a long time, but their relationship first began to develop into something more when they attended a Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert show together in Los Angeles with mutual pals. The Jonas Brothers band member reminisced about the moment in view of his 24.2 million Instagram followers while sharing an adorable snap of himself and the actress locked in a tender embrace at the Cannes Film Festival. He wrote: “One year ago today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends.
“One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife.
“I am so grateful for our journey together so far. You make me smile every day and you inspire me to be the best version of myself.
Nick concluded: “I am honored to be your husband. I love you. @priyankachopra.”
Priyanka echoed her husband’s sentiment as she gushed in response: “The most amazing thing that ever happened to me is you. I love you babs…”(sic.)
Nick’s fans also joined Priyanka in the comments section to share their thoughts on his romantic declaration.

Nick and Priyanka tied the knot in December last year in an extravagant ceremony featuring both Christian and Hindu traditions.
However, Priyanka recently admitted she would never have predicted she would marry Nick before she properly got to know him.
The Bollywood star told PEOPLE Magazine: “I’ve known him for two years.
“I didn’t think that this is what it [would’ve] turned out to be, and that’s maybe that’s my fault, I judged a book by its cover.”
She went on to explain Nick surprised her with his true nature and mature attitude, adding: “When I actually started dating Nick, he surprised me so much,
“I call him ‘Old Man Jonas.’ That’s my name for him, ‘OMJ’.”
Priyanka continued: ”He’s such an old soul, extremely smart, so good for me because he grounds me so much.
“I’m a wild child, I do whatever I want whenever I want and he always supports me.”
