Nick Cordero’s wife Amanda Kloots has revealed that doctors have ‘told her to say goodbye’ amid her husband’s coronavirus battle.

The Broadway star has been battling the virus in intensive care, with Amanda sharing updates for fans.

Next to a sweet snap of Nick and their son Elvis, Amanda wrote: ‘I’ve been told a couple times that he won’t make it.

‘I’ve been told to say goodbye. I’ve been told it would take a miracle. Well, I have faith. Faith that is small as a mustard seed sometimes, but that is all you need sometimes.

‘He’s still here and despite his odds gets slightly, slightly better every day. Where there is faith, there is hope. Where there is hope, there can be a miracle! Like my dad has said since day one, every day he’s still with us is a miracle.

‘I believe God is with us, with the doctors and with Nick.’

Fans and friends have been quick to send supportive messages to the star, with one writing: ‘You are all in my thoughts every single day. Love you ❤️,’ and another adding: ‘Thinking of you all the time, friend.’

Amanda’s update comes after she explained that Nick had ‘defied the odds’ in his battle against the virus.

She said: ‘They saw some success with proning Nick, so they are going to continue doing that with him…they are seeing some improvements with his oxygen and gas exchange rates, so that was really good and really promising.

‘They also have started some new antibiotics and they also started a high dose of Vitamin C to start working on his immune system.

‘All these little things seem to be slowly helping and we’re just keeping our fingers crossed that these things will continue to see some improvements.’

Nick, 41, has been in intensive care since 30 March when he tested positive for Covid-19.

He then had to have a leg amputated after suffering a life-threatening blood clot.
