Former NFL star Tim Tebow has married his love Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in a beautiful South African wedding.

The happy couple, who got engaged in January 2019, tied the knot during an intimate ceremony at La Paris Estate in Cape Town last week.

According to People, the nuptials took place just before sunset and lasted around 30 minutes with 260 guests in attendance.

The beautiful bride Demi-Leigh wore a custom-made gown designed by David’s Bridal with jewellery from Marion Rehwinkel, while Tim wore an Antar Levar tuxedo.

Speaking the night before their wedding, Tim, 32, told the publication: ‘I want the vows to be perfect.

‘I’m leaving in all the traditional things like “‘till death do us part”, but I’m also adding some of my own things to it.’

Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh, 24, added: ‘We’re both very traditional.

‘We wanted to look back at the wedding and see that it was intimate, elegant, and traditional. We definitely wanted it to be something that we could look back on and know that nothing was dated. We want to remember this day for the rest of our lives.’

Following the romantic ceremony, the wedding party were treated to a delicious menu at the reception, which included steak, pasta, assorted cheeses and mussels, to combine American and South African cuisine.

Proving how laidback they are as a couple, Tim and Demi-Leigh admitted they hadn’t seen the wedding cake prior to the reception.

‘I’m an easy bride. We just trusted our wedding planner,’ Demi-Leigh said.

And then Tim just had to go and make our hearts melt by revealing his excitement at seeing his bride in her wedding dress for the first time and sharing their first dance.

‘I’ve been waiting my entire life for someone special, who I can spend the rest of my life with,’ he said.

We’re not crying, you are.

‘I was waiting for the right person to come along. And now I’m marrying Demi. I can’t wait to see what our future holds. All of my dreams have come true. It was 100 percent worth the wait.’

You guys.
