Neymar has made no secret of his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain – and he has now trolled his current club as he eyes a move back to Barcelona .
The Brazil striker did not return back to the French capital for the start of their pre-season leading to the club releasing a statement declaring they would take action.
He is still in South America as he prepares to return to training shortly with his future uncertain despite recovering from the ankle injury which ruled him out of the Copa America.
During an interview whilst attending the Red Bull Jr Fives in Brazil, Neymar could not help but remind PSG of the moment they were stunned by Barcelona with his help in the Champions League.
He highlighted Barcelona’s stunning 6-1 win – resulting in a 6-5 aggregate triumph – at the Nou Camp back in 2017 as his best memory in football.
“My best memory as a footballer? When we won against PSG with FC Barcelona,” Neymar told Oh My Goal in a Q&A interview.
“What we felt when we scored the sixth goal I never felt something like this, it was incredible.
“Best memory in the locker room? Ah, I don’t know.
“Well, when we won against PSG with Barcelona it was completely… we all went crazy afterwards!
“I believe it was the best possible feeling for all of us.”
Neymar also hinted at his desires with an Instagram post featuring him in Barcelona colours on Saturday.
He broke his silence at the event but refused to respond to speculation over his future, instead speaking only about his injury.
“I am now almost 100 percent after the injury, the only thing now is to get back training,” he stated.
It is unclear whether a Nou Camp return will materialise after the club completed the £107m signing of Antoine Griezmann during the week.
