Neymar: PSG star LASHES OUT at Brazil team-mate during training for Copa America campaign

Neymar is currently training with Brazil, with the PSG star primed to play a starring role as they seek Copa America glory this summer.

The Samba star goes into the competition with his future up in the air, however, with talk of a stunning return to Barcelona gathering pace.

And, amid claims Neymar is unhappy at PSG, the superstar has now been embroiled in a training ground incident.

The South American forward appeared to lash out at team-mate Weverton after the Brazil youngster nutmegged him in training.

Neymar was undone by his team-mate with a majestic piece of skill.

And the PSG star didn’t take too kindly to the Cruizero star’s trickery, pulling him to the floor via his bib.

The incident comes after it was announced that Neymar would be stripped of the Brazil captaincy.

“Daniel Alves will be captain of the Brazilian national team in the friendly matches against Qatar and Honduras and in Copa America Brazil 2019,” the CBF said in a statement.

“The decision was communicated by Tite to Neymar on Saturday.

“After training on Sunday, the coach talked to Daniel Alves to inform him of his choice.”

It has been claimed that the 27-year-old regrets turning his back on Barcelona for PSG two years ago, and wants to return.

Real Madrid could also move for the Brazilian despite Los Blancos being expected to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea in the coming days.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes Neymar would not suit the La Liga giants.

But he thinks Manchester United powerhouse Paul Pogba just might.

“Neymar is a top player but I don’t see him – his behaviour in the last games he has played – as being the best reference for coming to Real Madrid,” he said.

“Pogba? Maybe. He is one of the players that [Zinedine] Zidane has said he really likes.

“It would be a problem of money. Our president has decided to invest a ridiculous amount of money in the new stadium because we already have a fantastic stadium.”
