THRILL-SEEKING Brits should book a trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where a hair-raising new roller coaster has just opened.
The Steel Curtain in Kennywood Amusement Park has broken three roller coaster records and has already been called a landmark attraction.

The Steel Curtain is painted bright yellow, as a homage to the local football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It is the tallest roller coaster in the state of Pennsylvania at 220ft.
The attraction also has the most inversions of any roller coaster in North America, as well as the tallest inversion in the world at 197ft above ground.
While the ride lasts just two minutes, those on board will experience the 4,000ft track at an incredible 76 miles per hour, going through nine separate inversions.
First videos of the ride showed terrified riders holding on for dear life as they zipped round at lightning speed.

The attraction is located in a new area of the theme park, the Steelers Experience.
It’s the first collaboration between the National Football League (NFL) and a theme park according to the Theme Park Insider.
As well as the roller coaster, visitors can also try a number of American football-related attractions.
Kennywood Amusement Park is one of the most well known theme parks in the US, having been a designated National Historic Landmark since 1987.
There are over 40 rides and attractions at the park, including three roller coasters that date back to the 1920s.
It’s a short drive from the city of Pittsburgh, and tickets cost $49.99 (39.93) for adults and $33.99 (£27.15) for children, but you can also buy four tickets for $149.96 (£119.79).
