LIFE as a new mum is never easy. There’s the lack of sleep, the constant worries and numerous challenges that come with feeding and breastfeeding.
But for one woman, life was made all the more stressful when her neighbour knocked on her door and demanded she stops feeding her baby in her own garden.

Speaking on a Reddit feed, the furious mum revealed this was not the first complaint she’d received, as the neighbours had previously expressed their dismay at seeing the woman sunbathe when she was pregnant – out the back of her own home.
Posting about her frustration, the woman questioned whether it was wrong of her to ignore her neighbour’s complaints and the response was a unanimous “no.”
After living in her current home with her husband for the past five years, new neighbours called Paul and Anna moved in when she was two months pregnant.

Viewing the woman in her garden, sunbathing with her baby bump, Paul straight away complained that seeing this made him uncomfortable.
The neighbours later revealed that they were having fertility issues and the complaints have worsened since the son was born with Paul and Anna complaining that they could “see him” from their balcony.
“Today, my husband and I were grilling some meat in the backyard. The baby was hungry so I started to breastfeed” said the mum.
The woman noticed Anna watching her from her balcony and saw her go inside, and shortly after Paul appeared at her front door.
“Paul went off on me for breastfeeding in public (in my fenced yard) and being inconsiderate,” said the mum.
Adding: “When he finished I told him to leave us alone, don’t knock on my door again, and if his wife is so upset over seeing a baby she needs therapy and not him harassing my family.”
The woman concluded that she feels that she should be allowed to do what she wants in her own home, yet says her own mother disagrees with her.
“My mum told me I was wrong, and I couldn’t understand because I never suffered from infertility and I need to apologise,” she said.
Taking to the comments of her post, people were largely in disagreement with the woman’s mother.
One person commented: “This isn’t your problem, it sucks for them but are you really gonna stop being a mum at certain viewpoints cause they can’t have a baby.”
Another said that Anna’s behaviour was actually concerning: ” Just reading about how she watches you made me uncomfortable. I would keep my guard up around her because she doesn’t seem like a stable person.”
