Seems we’re still quite obsessed with Jennifer Aniston and her Murder Mystery alongside Adam Sandler, according to Netflix’s latest rankings.

The platform has released its latest top 10 when it comes to what we’re watching and the recently released original movie is trumped only by Shaft.

While we have no bloomin’ idea how many views these shows and movies have got this week, with stats often kept on the down low, Shaft and Murder Mystery has some solid company on that top 10.

Adam and Jen teamed up for this rom-com actual murder mystery, which throws a troubled married couple into the realms of a flash action adventure.

Sure, Sandler’s output on Netflix is usually best avoided, but the charms of Jen and Luke Evans as a wealthy billionaire have made this much more enjoyable than the norm and it seems people have well and truly voted with their remotes.

To be fair, we shouldn’t be spitting out our martinis all that dramatically, the movie did break a whole bunch of Netflix records when it was released last month.

Netflix, who are notoriously cagey about releasing their data, previously revealed that ‘30,869,863 accounts watched Murder Mystery’ in the first three days, which is officially ‘the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix Film’.

Those figures are broken down into ‘13,374,914 accounts in the US and Canada, and 17,494,949 more worldwide’. Netflix data works on the premise that 70% of a film has to have been watched to count in the final figures.

Then there’s Shaft, which only came out two days ago and is already leading the charge, just two weeks after its cinematic release.

Netflix scooped this Samuel L Jackson epic right up.

It follows the return of the mighty Nick Fury actor as the titular detective – but we’re dealing with three generations of Shafts this time around.

He’ll be playing second fiddle to his son John Shaft Jr (played by Jessie Usher), with John Shaft Snr making an appearance thanks to Richard Roundtree.

Following those two, coming in at third spot is Jane The Virgin, followed by When They See Us.

The latest season of Black Mirror gave it a boost to number five, while Despicable Me 3 and Girls Incarcerated kept the range going.

Jessica Jones slid into number eight, while Good Girls and Designated Survivor rounded out the list.

Guess your weekend plans are now sorted, eh?
