Neighbours spoilers: Paul Robinson takes DRASTIC action against son Leo Tanaka

Neighbours fans haven’t seen Paul Robinson (played by Stefan Dennis) being his usual villainous self for a good couple of years on the Channel 5 soap.

But in the coming weeks, it seems viewers may seem a return to form, as the hotel owner finds himself in another battle.

Paul’s son, Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano), has been taking care of the Backpackers in a bid to create an empire in Erinsborough.

But it seems the more-laid back Leo has let his attention slide on the business – much to his dad’s annoyance.

In the coming weeks, Paul pays a visit to the Backpackers and sees it in an absolute state.

It’s no secret Leo has been going through a tough time recently in his love life.

The charmer initially fell for his dad’s lover, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmalogue) and they embarked on an affair.

But she chose to go back to Paul and they went back to the romance they had before.

Leo moved on to Terese’s daughter, Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), but again, it all ended in disaster as she wasn’t over her ex.

There’s no surprise, therefore, that Leo has let the business slip as he’s simply had too much on his mind.

But that’s no excuse for Paul, who is shocked and appalled his own blood would give up on their business.

The angry father immediately demands some real explanations from Leo, but the latter only admits he wasn’t feeling inspired.

Paul can’t believe what he’s hearing and is thrown into a fury at his son.

He sacks Leo on the spot and naturally things are tense between them.

Will they be able to resolve their differences or is this one clash too many?

Elsewhere in Erinsborough, Neighbours legend Alan Fletcher has spoken about whether he would ever quit his role as Karl Kennedy.

The actor told The Sun: “I just love my time there so much and it’s been such a wonderful job because I have had the opportunity to do other things and to be honest with you, working with Jackie Woodburne is a dream.

“Why would you think to go off and do something else that’s uncertain anyway?”

What’s more, Karl and his long-suffering partner, Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), are about to celebrate their 25th anniversary together.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
