NCT 127 make history as first K-Pop group to perform at Thanksgiving Parade

NCT 127 have made history as the first K-Pop group to perform at the Thanksgiving Parade in New York City.

Not too shabby.

The K-Pop heroes, Taeyong, Taeil, Yuta, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, and Haechan, could be seen belting out their hit Highway To Heaven on a float adorned with LEGO and backing dancers dressed as builders bopping away.

Because what else?

The crowds could be heard cheering for the lads, with NCTzens on social media having a bit of a meltdown.

‘Ok guys i know NCT 127 is the 1st kpop group to perform at macy’s thanksgiving parade but just cause NCT 127 is the 1st kpop group at the macys parade doesn’t mean we have to keep mentioning that #NCT127 is the 1st kpop group to perform at the macy’s parade,’ one wrote.

Sorry, did you say NCT 127 is the first K-Pop group to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade? We didn’t quite catch that.

‘Nct world domination,’ another pointed out, with one more saying: ‘They’re killing it!! I feel like a proud mom right now!’

We all do.

Known as the ‘K-Pop Avengers’, the stars have definitely been keeping themselves busy, with Mark and Taeyong also finding success with their side project, SuperM.

There’s no rivalry with Mark and Taeyong’s NCT 127 bandmates though as they admitted they were ‘definitely happy’ for their success in the supergroup, while speaking to Metro.co.uk at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville, Spain earlier this month.

As for juggling the two groups, the pair added: ‘It’s a combination of what the company has to do too, so I feel like it’s just about going with the flow.’

SuperM were formed by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group and also consist of Taemin from SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, and Ten and Lucas from WayV.
