The U.S. video game company disclosed that its NBA 2K20 (which was launched in September) and NBA 2K19 titles were among the largest contributors to its net bookings during the period.

“Our positive momentum continued in the second quarter, enabling our company to generate operating results that significantly exceeded our expectations,” said Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of Take-Two. “We delivered strong net bookings, cash flow, and earnings growth, fueled by the performance of NBA 2K, Borderlands 3, Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V, and Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.”

Japanese video game company Square Enix Holdings reported an operating income of ¥8.7B ($79.7M) for Q2 FY 2020 up % from ¥5.9B ($54M) operating income in Q2 FY 2019.
